Primary Aldosteronism
SYMPTOMS may include high blood pressure, periods of numbness, weakness and
tingling, excessive urination and thirst and transient paralysis.
CAUSES are from potassium loss and sodium retention which is the result of a
tumor of the adrenal gland producing excessive amounts of a hormone called
aldosterone.
TREATMENT. Surgery may be required.
